A group of psychiatrists and psychologists left for earthquake-affected areas here on Tuesday as part of PMA-Karachi Relief Team, led by its general secretary surgeon Qaiser Sajjad.

PMA sources in a press statement here said the known psychiatrist, Dr Unaiza Niaz, Institute of Psycho Trauma, psychiatrist Sehar Hasan and counsellor Shehnaz Ahad are part of the team to treat and counsel the victims in Muzzafarabad, Mansehra, Balakot, Abbottabad and Islamabad.

The team will remain there during Eid and afterwards the team members would organise lectures and counselling sessions.
